Second Vice-President- Oversees the Social side of the Board including the execution of the monthly Social events.  Responsibilities include overseeing the Membership and Social/Programs to name a few…all the activities that affect the General Membership the most.

Social Treasurer- Handles all Social money and account bookkeeping.  Works directly with the Second Vice-President and Social Chair to ensure expenditures and income are accounted for accurately.

Welfare Treasurer- Handles all Welfare money and account bookkeeping to include the separate Craft Show money and account bookkeeping.  Works directly with the First Vice-President and Welfare and Craft Show Chairs to ensure expenditures and income are accounted for accurately.

Recording Secretary- Records and maintains Board and Committee meeting minutes.  Good note taking and computer skills recommended.

Corresponding Secretary- Retrieves mail from the Dover AFB P.O. Box and messages from the DOSC voicemail box; passes these to the proper Board member.  Sends cards, notes, invitations or flowers, as requested.  Also coordinates photos at social functions.

Make a DIFFERENCE in Our Community!

Don't forget all those important Committee Chairs.  You may not feel ready to hold an elected office, but a Committee Chair, or Co-Chair, may be right up your alley.  It takes many talented and dedicated people to keep the DOSC a vital and fun part of Dover AFB.  Committee Chairs are members of the DOSC Board and meet for approximately one hour, the first Thursday of each month; childcare is available.

What Committee are you interested in?  Let us know by sending this section back to DOSC, P.O. BOX 02001, Dover, DE 19902 or by contacting current Parliamentarian, Susan Burks, at 302.678.2826 or shburks@gmail.com.  Interested in more than one Committee?  Annotate your order of preference!
