While our members truly enjoy the time we spend socializing every month, we recognize that the true purpose of our organization is to serve our military and local communities. 

Every year, the Dover OSC organizes and sponsors the largest single-day craft show on America's east coast!  This, our biggest fundraiser, allows us to generously contribute to many worthy causes.  In total, in fiscal year 2003-2004, the craft show enabled the Dovers' Officers' Spouses' Club to donate $45,546 in scholarships and charitable contributions.

• $20,000 in scholarships was awarded to children and spouses of DAFB personnel.
• We granted $14,000 in welfare requests to base organizations, including the Air Mobility Command Museum, the Family Support Center, Dover Air Base Middle School and Civil Engineering.
• Over $10,000 was awarded to national, state and local charities.  These include the Schwartz Center for the Arts, Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition, Delaware Hospice, Perinatal Associates of Delaware, Easter Seals and the USO.
