 2012 Scholarship Information and Applications

The Dover Officers' Spouses Club offers two types of scholarships:  

  1. Graduating high school seniors enrolling in academic or vocational programs and
  2. Spouses and dependents pursuing post-high school academic or vocational education. 
Applications must be postmarked by 15 March 2012.
 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be:
  • Current high school seniors and dependents of active duty, reserve, or retired military members or US government employees assigned to DAFB or
  • Current high school seniors and reside in the area served by DAFB who are dependents of:
  • Deceased military members or
  • Active duty, reserve, or DoD members who are completing a remote tour or deployment or
  • Active duty, reserve, or DoD members who were transferred after the beginning of the applicant’s senior year 
  • Applicants must have applied to an accredited academic or vocational program for the fall 2012 academic year.
  • Applicants are subsequently ineligible for this scholarship if they are awarded a full scholarship or are appointed and attend any military service academy. 

 

Spouse and Dependent Further Education Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be dependents of:
  • Active duty, reserve, or retired military members or US government employees assigned to DAFB or
  • Deceased military members who reside in the area served by DAFB or
  • Active duty, reserve, or DoD members who are completing a remote tour or deployment and who reside in the area served by DAFB
  • Spousesmust be entering or currently enrolled part- or full-time students in an accredited post-high school academic or vocational program.
  • Dependent children(under age 23) must be currently enrolled (spring 2012) part- or full-time students in an accredited post-high school academic or vocational program.
  • Applicants are ineligible if they received a 2011-2012 DOSC scholarship.
