upon us! The time has flown by for our family. I have to

say the “third time’s the charm” fits our family perfectly.

This is the 3rd time we’ve been stationed at Dover, and

this has been such a terrific experience. It is so easy to be

a “Proud Pelican” when you are able to hang out with

such an amazing group of people! From the very

beginning, we instantly felt like you were all our family

and we will always remember the great times we had over

the last two years.

I’d like to especially thank Shannon Bibb and Glenda

Ross for welcoming me to the squadron and helping me at

a moment’s notice over the last 18 months. I thank God

for bringing us to Dover, where I could meet two

absolutely awesome women!

Darren and I wish Thad and Shannon the best as they

begin leading the “Proud Pelicans” and know that they

will also enjoy every moment as we did.

Our family is heading to ICAF in the D.C. area,

so please don’t be strangers! Once again, thanks to all the

spouses in the 9th who unselfishly support each other,

know how to celebrate better than anywhere we’ve

been, and understand what it means to be a friend! I wish

you all the best in the future, and I know our paths will

cross again.
